You are looking at the world's smallest EcoHome (completely carbon-neutral home) — looks more like a cube than anything else. The designer of this amazing piece of art has managed to squeeze a lounge with a table and two chairs, a 4ft-wide double bed, a full-size shower and a kitchen into this 10 feet cube.
It also includes a solar panel roof to generate electricity for potential owners — they could rake in £1,000 per year by selling energy back to the grid.
The designer has considered looks and comfort as well as the environment.
He said:
The Cube is made up mostly of wood and other carbon-emission-free materials. It also contains green appliances, ultra-efficient LED lights and Ecodan air source heat pump to recover heat from extracted air.
If the Cube gets registered for the Government of UK's feed in tariff, it would be free from utility bills and will be able to raise an annual income of around £1,000 — pretty amazing NO??
